Pre-Conference Lecture and Dinner

In evening lecture and dinner will be jointly hosted by Namibia Institute of Architects and British High Commission.

The lecture will be given by Peter Davey, the editor of the Architectural Review and Philip Kungu, CAA president, will be the after dinner speaker on 'Architecture for Africa'.

Desert Express & Swakopmund Excursion This Safari option makes use of either the West Bound (departs from Windhoek on Tuesday's and Friday's only) or the East Bound (departs from Swakopmund on Wednesday's and Saturday's only) with one night's accommodation on Namibia's unique rail experience, the Desert Express. Accommodation in Namibia's premier holiday town, Swakopmund will be in a hotel or pension. Swakopmund is the ideal destination to explore the Namib Desert with adventure activities into the Dune Belt or by vehicle into the Namib Naukluft Park.
