John Geeson

Biography

John graduated from Leicester School of Architecture and registered as an architect in 1981, becoming a member of the RIBA in 1986. He has worked in the commercial sector for a variety of larger practices in London, with long spells at Michael Haskoll Associates and Geoffrey Reid Associates as well as Frederick Gibberd Coombes & Partners, BDP and East Sussex County Council. Returning to Haskoll in 1996 he became a Director of the company in 2002. As well as running a team for various major projects, John is responsible for co-ordinating Haskoll’s IT systems and Procedures and Quality Control systems, and he represents Haskoll on the RIBA’s Large Practice Group. He also represents the Large Practice Group on the International Committee of the RIBA. He is a member of the Academy of Urbanism. John has completed major projects throughout the UK, mainly for private sector clients, as well as providing design consultancy advice on projects in Norway, Switzerland and Ukraine. He has participated in study tours to Canada, USA, Scandinavia and Switzerland and has an active role in the management of Haskoll’s projects in over thirty countries in Europe, the Middle East and China.
