Ar. Kalim A. Siddiqui holds a M.Sc. from A.I.T. Bangkok in Human Settlements Planning and Development along with a B. Arch. in Architecture. Ar. Siddiqui carries with him a wealth of experience in project design & preparation, planning, monitoring and control acquired over the past more than thirty years in professional practice.
Ar. Siddiqui has been active in promoting the cause of Architects at the National and International levels as early as 1985. Has been involved in the affairs of the Institute of Architects Pakistan and has held various positions as Office Bearer of the Institute over a period of more than 25 years.
At the National level he was twice elected Vice Chairman, Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) which is responsible for enforcement of regulation and recognition of the profession of Architects and Town Planners in the country.
At the International level he has been involved with the activities and various programs of the Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) and most recently served as Vice President (2010-2012) representing Zone “A” countries comprising of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
He was instrumental in organizing the premiere event of ARCASIA as the convener of ARCASIA Congress of Architects (ACA-14) and the Student Jamboree held at Lahore in Oct. 2010.
He has widely travelled and attended seminars, workshops and conference besides working on foreign professional assignments through his office in the UAE.
He is a Fellow of Institute of Architects, Pakistan (FIAP) and Fellow of the Institute of Town Planners, Pakistan, (FITP) and is registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP)
