Sitha received her architectural education from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow, Scotland. She spent her year out in Oslo Norway and on graduating in 1999 moved there to work for HRTB Architects. Whilst taking Urbanism Studies at the university of Oslo she was involved in a number of projects including the Engersand Harbour Project and Munkvoll Elderly Care Centre.
In 2006 she returned to her home country Botswana and established her own practice Moralo Designs (Pty) Ltd in Gaborone. Since then she has been a key participant in the Environmental Design Guidelines for Setlhoa Village in Gaborone and has developed designs for a mining operator’s village in Jwaneng. This has involved the integrated design of housing, communal facilities and recreational facilities for the company. She has also been involved in a feasibility study for a teaching hospital in Juba, Sudan.

Sitha has served on the Architects Association of Botswana Executive Committee for several terms and now sits as Vice Chairperson of the Architect’s Registration Council of Botswana. She has taught at the University of Botswana Architecture Programme and since leaving the University has been Chair of the Accreditation Advisory Committee for the Architecture Program. She is a member of:

– Botswana Institute of Development Professionals
– Norwegian Association of Architects.
Sitha is a CAA Validation panellist and recently participated on school visits in South Africa.
