The 7th International Network of Tropical Architecture (iNTA) Conference will be held at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia 5 – 8 December 2019. The previous 6th Conference was held 2017 at University of Florida, Gainesville in the USA http://inta17.org.

THE AWARD:
In 1982 CAA established this Award to commemorate its founder. The Award recognizes innovative contributions to the development of architecture in the Commonwealth context.
The award is to be made to an architectural practice making the most outstanding contribution, having particular relevance to the country or region in which the architect or architectural practice operates.
PAST WINNERS:
The past winners represent a distinguished body of architects who have provided many
Commonwealth countries with significant and lasting architectural endowments.

SCHEDULE OF AWARD:
The schedule of the process involved in selecting the Award Recipient:
November 2018 – March 2019 – To receive Nominations.
10th March 2019 – Deadline for submission. The Jury shall base its assessment on nominations received prior to this date.
April – May 2019 – Jury review. The Jury shall review the shortlisted candidates and prepare their final recommendation.
30th May 2019 – Award Recipient is chosen through a majority vote. The decision shall be final and without appeal.
August 2019 – Award Recipient receive the Trophy. The Award Ceremony will take place in Mombasa. Kenya, where the Award Recipient shall receive a Certificate, Award Plaque, and a Medal.
