CAA's current turnover of around £60000 is funded by membership
subscriptions and a grant from the Commonwealth
Foundation. The latter is given in part to assist with establishment
or core costs and part to carry out activity programmes which
are relevant to the Foundation's areas of focus.
Around 40% of CAA's income is available to carry out its activity
programmes and part of this is given in response to requests for
support for member institute's activities which correlate with CAA's
agreed programme areas. Requests for funding must be submitted or
endorsed by a CAA member institutes and are normally in connection
with their activities.
