Canberra Accord 7th General Meeting held in Bloemfontein, South Africa 29-31 August 2019.
The Canberra Accord is growing from strength to strength. CAA was represented by the Chair of the Validation Executive Committee, Ms Sithabile Mathe at the recent 7th Canberra Accord General Meeting held in Bloemfontein, South Africa hosted by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession.
When the various signatories presented their statistics for implementation it became very clear what a great advantage it is for CAA to continue as a signatory. Although, as CAA we differ from the other signatories as we are not directly responsible for regulatory matters in each of our member organisation countries or jurisdictions, our validated programs, however, provide recognition towards one of the three ‘E’s’ requirements to registration of Architects being Education, Experience and Examination.
Delegates at the meeting also attended the annual Sophia Grey Memorial Lecture hosted by the University of the Free State Department of Architecture.
