International Architectural Exhibition 13 – 17 November 2013
Organised by the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) and the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) with partners and trade sponsors this exhibition, featuring critically acclaimed works of architecture from the Commonwealth, was held as part of the International Trade Fair running concurrent with the CHOGM. A formal opening took place and the Fair visited by government delegations and others attending CHOGM.
The Transcending Horizons exhibition was organised by the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) and the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), City School of Architecture Colombo, The Geoffrey Bawa Trust, University of Moratuwa and Sri Lanka government tourism and urban development agencies.
